Seabreeze Property Services, a leading property services company, is seeking a Crew Leader to help support a dynamic, growing workplace. The Crew Leader role is a non-exempt position responsible for leading teams of Property Technicians to provide customers with best in class property services, including landscape maintenance, landscape construction, paving and snow management. Crew Leaders are part of the front-line of our business, and Seabreeze seeks to attract talented candidates who have a “can-do” attitude and are looking to be a long term part of a growing team. This is a full-time position which requires a background investigation and drug test may be required prior to employment. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Specific duties include:

  • Ensure work gets completed efficiently and at or above customer expectations
  • Provide assigned crew of Property Technicians with on-site leadership, job instruction and aid in skill development
  • Use a variety of equipment to perform landscape maintenance, hardscape projects and/or snow removal tasks
  • Work productively with other Crew Leaders to ensure daily operational tasks are executed
  • Responsible for the productivity and professionalism of their assigned crew
  • Responsible for ensuring crew take good care of trucks and equipment
  • Responsible for conducting regular crew member job reviews
  • Responsible for utilizing company technology to ensure timely and accurate reporting of work.
  • Depending on experience, Senior Crew Leaders may be responsible for overseeing Junior Crew Leaders

Work Conditions:

  • Applicants must be willing and able to work outdoors, in all elements
  • Applicants must be able to tolerate physical effort including the handling of objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Able to safely work with a wide variety of equipment such as mowers, power saws and cutters
  • Applicants must have a clean drivers license
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and competencies:

  • At least 1 year of landscape/hardscape and/or snow removal experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage crews
  • Desire to work in a results oriented environment
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet established deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively
